By 1913, Fred Duesenberg and his brother, Augie, were in business together with the Duesenberg Motor Company in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Duesenberg reputation was built around that still famous arena, motorsports. Duesenbergs chalked up impressive board-track performances by such drivers as Eddie O'Donnell, Ralph Mulford and Eddie Rickenbacker in the mid-1910s.
